Stomach 32
Chinese Name: Futu (English translation: Crouching Rabbit)

Location:  On the anterior aspect of the thigh, on the line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and the lower lateral border of the patella, 6 cun above the patella.

Indications:

  • Paralysis or weakness of the lower extremities
  • Coldness and pain of the lower back and knee. (Bi-Syndrome and Wei Syndromes)

Functions: Frees obstructions in the meridian, dispels Wind-Damp, alleviates pain.

Needling: Perpendicular insertion 1.0 - 2.0 cun.
