Zhongfeng (English translation: Mound Center) Location: On the dorsum of the foot, between SP 5 and ST 41, in the depression on the medial side of the tendon m. tibialis anterior. Classification: Jing-River point of the Liver Meridian Indications:
Functions: Regulates Liver Qi, clears Heat. Notes: Jing-River points are where the qi of the meridian begins to flow more heavily. They are known to treat cough and asthma due to pathogenic cold or heat. Needling: Perpendicular insertion .5 - .8 cun. |
