Sifeng

Chinese Name: Sifeng (English translation: Four Seams)

Location:  On the palmar surface, in the midpoint of the transverse creases of the proximal interphalangeal joints of the index, middle, ring and little fingers. One hand has four points, both hands have a total of eight points.

Indications:

  • Malnutrition and indigestion syndrome in children
  • Whooping cough

Functions: Promotes digestion, resolves Dampness.

Needling: Prick to cause bleeding; or prick, then squeeze out a small amount of yellowish viscous fluid.
